As we mentioned, you simply can speed up with 1-2 clicks. Sometimes I need slow combat to see which units are in connection of absorbing pain etc.

I will post a longer report probably on the Weekend - Maybe some Players here are interested.
Skuns and Dread for sure had better games than this one, but all of ours enemies were tough competetion though.

Ricky had a decent game, got a big Goblin Vassal early and excellent infrastructure.
I was a bit behind all time and risked lots of Military losses when facing the armies of our enemies, so my Military Points dropped siginficantly one some occassions.

Hi! So we looked at the scores... The match was very tight and it was not obvious who should win it. In the end, judges decided Crusher got the victory. Congratulations to them. I'm going to edit the result and the roster. Please then edit the class/race.

Please note that, as explained in the past, the rule is not straightforward "victory for the team with the highest score" as explained in rule 1:
"The team with the highest cumulated score for non-eliminated players (dead players have 0 point) then wins the match. If scores are very close, the judges can decide that it is a draw and decide a replay the game with a shorter deadline (for instance 1 month), an extension or another solution (including awarding victory to one team), based on the circumstances of the march and the tournament. "

We did fall within the "very close" case for this game. Crusher won thanks to the capture of domain in the last 3-4 turns. We are sorry the game is decided like this but unfortunately round 2 cannot be delayed further if we want to keep all the players involved in the tournament on board until the end of the tourney.

Due to a misunderstanding, the turn notifications were not recorded comprehensively so this part of rule 1 can't be applied "In case of score victory, judges may require the “new turn notification” logs to all players to determine if the teams delayed the game by repeatedly breaking rule 3. A malus (e.g. -10% or more) might then be applied to the score of the rule-breaking teams.". In the future, please note that the player doing the recording needs to activate turn notifications on other players' turns (in the settings of the PBEM game).


Please get ready for next match!
And you're of course free to continue the current match for fun, for instance by doing a revert so that AlX replays his turn.

@Ezekiel: could you please send me the turn notification for all 4 players for all round? I see 3 options:
- send screenshots of your mailbox with all the emails needed
- forward all the emails to me by email
- save all the emails and send them as 1 archive (.zip for instance)

As announced at the beginning, this will be used to check if some players played in more than 24 hours without having notified it on the game blog, and potentially giving a score malus to these players.

Hi! Your time extension expires this Sunday 23:59:59 GMT+1. The usual procedure then applies:
1/ the current strategic turn is played until the last player in the turn order (AlX?)
2/ that player plays his turn, saves & quits, copy the save game to a backup folder
3/ that player re-enters the game and surrenders, then takes screenshots of all the scores. He does NOT end the turn. Instead he quits the game without ending the turn.
4/ he sends the screenshots to judges (Marcus, Jonny and me)
5/ judges check the scores and take a decision

@Ezekiel: can you please prepare to send me the email notifications of the turn, as requested at the beginning of the match. You're free to find the form that is the most convenient for you.

NEW TEAM GAME PLZZZ

Tough Fight.  Skuns and Marky had bad luck with bad partners in the game.  And yet they fought on, classy.  They would have made a good team.

Skuns was first to invade me and caused quite a bit of economic damage.  Dread and Blackcat invaded lightforms cities and did quite a bit of economic damage as well.  We held them off and eventually invaded them in kind.  Dread mass produced very powerful buffed Monster Hunters and of course he had is usual unkillable leader.  It took 2 of our unkillable leaders to kill his.  Light and I were concerned dread would mass produce manticores and I think that would have been the better option. 

True resurrect helped me a lot with early T4 convert and then converts on heros.  Lightform actually asked me to stop using True resurrect (OP), which I did, but the AI battles then used it.   I had leader and 7 Heros in a game with max 3 heros although one of those was a hero that surrendered to me.  And one of those heros had 30 melee strike, not including equipment.

After Dread and Blackcat were eliminated that left Skuns by himself and not many players can take on 2 equal or bigger empires by themselves so it was just a matter of time. 

Fantastic.  looking forward to another multi game.

Ricky's starting position was very defensive. In the upper right corner at UG. Only weak Red was too close to him. But Red had decided to move his stacks to the wrong way. So Ricky could build his empire with no worries. Though I don't understand his movement to the east with only one leader's stack. So, obvious, he lost his leader =) And only then he start to grow his empire.
And I must admit - Lightform is very strong player. He built unkillable stack (5 units with 1 or 2 T3) which could clear almost any difficult site. Except may be only Castle of the Lich King. And it could be killed by 2 full stack of T2 units, I think. 
As for me I still can't build so unkillable stack.

@Hiliadan  No, the report is correct. Dread was in the team with Blackcat. Though Blackcat wanted play with Mark - Dread had decided by another way.

@Dread  Well, I was afraid the moment when manticores will rise   And this moment never came   Also the map and teams starting positions (by distribution of forces) were not so ideal.

Played the match alone against three 2on2 Teams.

Was rushed from two Players from south and east (lost 2-3 cities in the first rush). I think Dreadreapr played the second rush and has beaten me, had no Chance against him.

I edited the report. For team games, team must be reported as 1 player. So Skuns + RedChameleon = same result/position. So you need to check when an entire team is eliminated, not when individual players are eliminated.

So sad when someone drops out of a game and leaves his allies hanging in the wind.  Dread and rrrookie put up a good fight and didn't quit until the end was clearly in sight.  Dread used eagles to great effect and they were almost a match for my dragons.  With 50 dead eagles and dark pact Stalkers, dragon stacks and chthonics busting down the doors it was clear the game was over for rrrookie and dread.

I wont be playing games any more unless they are against members of our club in good standing and with a reputation for not being quitters.

Good game to rickyroo.

I made many unforced errors and eventually decided to surrender without any major engagements between the two of us. The first major disappointment came around turn 18 when I attacked a hall of the forefathers under the halfling comet. All the frostling units were very happy in the snow and got lucky a lot. My units, despite being very lucky, had about the same luck % because they were unhappy in the snow but of course my units never got lucky.

After losing my leader in a ziggurat I decided to surrender. Very frustrating game.

Ricky played well despite the map working against him. He was draconian but most of the map was snow. Also his throne was closer to the middle of the map and was vulnerable to a possible rush. I thought ricky did a good job of overcoming these disadvantages that I thought he had.

He seemed to get off to a slow start which was why I rushed for him. However, he recovered quickly and had some powerful stacks and summon pheonix by the time the game ended at turn 38.
