Played a few games against Dr Light and we are probably at same skill level. Alot of the time Dr Light is among the few individuals who are blessed by luck...or is skill? Hard to tell. 

In general his strengths lies within the adaptive style of games where he learns from other players how to approach his own strategy and tactics. Surprisingly in almost all games it's essentially some different experience every time.

Presumably if he wants to improve his playstyle, his priorities should favour research harder and city management. If the game drags out, Dr Light will stay behind in research unless he finally decides to skip those evil specialization. 

Probably good choices for his certain playstyle would be Goblin Arch Druid with cheaper units to better synergies with his evil tinkering. In his slow Necromancers advancment should also Goblin provide some necessary tools to cover for slow expansion.

In general Dr Light is good player and many nice games despite my losses. :)

Comment:I think he has plenty to learn but he has improved a lot since our first game. I am sure he will get better with more practice. He is a pleasant fellow to play against and chat with.
